Reflection

The tool of reflection is essential for the storyteller.

Only through reflection can drafts progress. The first draft is merely setting the the stage, a brain dump of all the ideas you have been playing with. After that, a critical eye is needed.

Reflection and Time

Reflection gives the ability to improve.

Reflection is where the seeds grow into something.

Reflection is where the random idea suddenly becomes the lynchpin to the story.

But reflection, like drafting, requires time.

Time is always the investment.
