RSK ❤ MyCrypto
MyCrypto 1.5.5 includes RSK Name Service functionality!
Shortly after MyCrypto launched in early 2018, we added support for the RSK network and testnet, in addition to allowing RSK users to use MyCrypto with their Ledger.
Now, in MyCrypto 1.5.5, we’ve added support for the RSK Name Service so you can send transactions to ‘.rsk’ addresses!
MyCrypto is the first interface to support the RSK Name Service — the development work was done by the RSK team and we’d like to extend a huge thanks to them for this opportunity.
To enable the RSK network and take advantage of the corresponding RSK Name Service, change your network in the top right to RSK.
More about RSK
RSK is the first open-source smart contract platform with a 2-way peg to Bitcoin that also rewards the Bitcoin miners via merge-mining, allowing them to actively participate in the Smart Contract revolution. RSK goal is to add value and functionality to the Bitcoin ecosystem by enabling smart-contracts, near instant payments and higher-scalability.
RSK is part of the Root Infrastructure Framework Open Standard (RIF OS) project — a suite of open and decentralized infrastructure protocols that enable faster, easier and scalable development of distributed applications (dApps) within a unified environment.
The RSK Name Service is the first of many protocols to go live, with future protocols offering payments, storage, and more.
