How to buy NFTs with MyNearWallet
NFTs are a significant part of the Web3 world. Sometimes those beautiful pieces of art have really cool utility features like access to closed community chats or even some beta apps! Learn, how you can get your first NFT on MyNearWallet with Apollo42 marketplace. NFA!
- Log in to your MyNearWallet account. Open the “Wallet” tab in the upper row. Choose the “Collectibles” section inside.
a) If you don’t have any NFTs yet, click on the “Explore Apps” button inside. You’ll be redirected to the Awesome NEAR page with NFT marketplaces. Choose the marketplace you like, in our case, it’ll be Apollo42.
b) If someone has already sent you some NFTs, click on the “Explore Apps” button on the right part of your screen. You’ll be forwarded to MyNearWallet explore page. Scroll down to the “Collect NFTs” section over there and click on the needed marketplace over there.
2. You’ll be redirected to the needed marketplace page on the Awesome NEAR. Click on the website button in the right part of your screen.
3. You’ll be redirected to the marketplace website. Click on the “Log in” button over there. Usually, it’s located in the upper right corner.
4. In the pop-up wallet selector, choose MyNearWallet.
5. You’ll be redirected to the MyNearWallet page to connect your wallet.
a) If you see the account you want to connect, choose it and click the “Next” button. In the next window, click on the “Connect” button to give the app the permissions needed to use your wallet.
b) In case you didn’t find the needed account in the list, choose the “Import a Different Account” button. Choose to recover an account via your passphrase (you’ll be asked to enter your 12 security words) or Ledger (read more about Ledger recovery here). Unfortunately, email and phone recovery currently don’t work. Read more about importing your account here. Click on the “Connect” button after you imported your account to MyNearWallet.
6. After you logged in, choose the NFT you want to buy!
On Apollo42 you need to choose an “Explore” section in the “Market” tab on the upper part of the site. Click on the preferred collection and choose the needed NFT. Click on the “Buy now” button.
7. You’ll be redirected to the MyNearWallet page again. Click on the “Approve” button to confirm a transaction.
8. After you purchased the NFT, you can check it in the “Collectibles” section in the “Wallet” tab on the main MyNearWallet page.
