Royal jelly is a unique substance produced by bees, which serves as a nutritious and medicinal product. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other biologically active substances. In recent years, royal jelly has become a popular component in cosmetic products and shampoos due to its unique properties. In this article, I will tell you not only about the benefits of royal jelly, but also how it can be used in the manufacture of masks.

Cosmetics containing royal jelly help with:

Narrowing of pores.

Acceleration of metabolic processes in cells.

Improvement of blood circulation.

Hydration and nutrition.

Smoothing out fine wrinkles and restoring elasticity.

Elimination of acne, blackheads, and inflammation.

However, if you dream of becoming the owner of perfect skin, using only cosmetics with royal jelly may not be enough. It’s good that we live in a time of technological development when there are beauty devices that can not only help us achieve perfect facial skin but also diversify our self-care routine.

The benefits of royal jelly.

Moisturizing and nourishing the skin

Royal jelly has moisturizing and nourishing properties that help make the skin soft and smooth. It stimulates the renewal of skin cells, contributing to its firmness and elasticity. Activation of the work of fibroblasts in the production of collagen, elastin, and other glycosaminoglycans. This property allows you to maintain the elasticity and uniform density of the skin for longer, which makes royal jelly an ideal remedy for owners of dry skin that has shown the first signs of aging.

Against inflammation and irritation

Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties (gramicidin), royal jelly can help fight inflammation and irritation on the skin, such as acne or redness.

Strengthening hair and improving its growth

In shampoos, royal jelly can help strengthen hair, making it stronger and healthier. It also stimulates hair growth, making it denser and shinier. In addition, royal jelly helps against dryness and peeling of the scalp — it perfectly moisturizes, soothes, and stimulates skin renewal, relieving discomfort and providing favorable conditions for hair growth. It also has antibacterial properties, so it is also included in the composition of dandruff remedies.

Methods of use.

As part of cosmetics

Royal jelly is often included in creams, lotions, masks and other cosmetics. It can be used both in its pure form and in combination with other active ingredients to enhance the effect.

Face mask with royal jelly and honey

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon royal jelly

1 teaspoon of natural honey

1 teaspoon of oatmeal (you can use ground or whole if you have sensitive skin)

In a bowl, mix royal jelly, honey, and oatmeal until you get a smooth paste. If the paste turns out to be too thick, you can add water (warm, boiled). Clean your face with a tonic or mild gel soap to remove makeup and prepare the skin for applying the mask. Then apply the mask on your face, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. Let the mask dry on your face, but do not keep the mask on your face for more than half an hour. Rinse the mask thoroughly with warm water, making gentle massage movements. After rinsing off the mask, apply a moisturizer or serum to your face. If desired, you can wipe your face with an ice stick made of chamomile (the preparation of such a stick was discussed in previous articles). This mask helps to moisturize and nourish the skin, softens it, and improves the complexion. Honey and oatmeal have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and royal jelly, in turn, can help in skin repair. You should make such a mask no more than twice a week, preferably in the evenings. Before applying the mask to your face, be sure to make sure that you are not allergic!

As part of shampoos and conditioners

In some shampoos and conditioners, royal jelly can be found as one of the key ingredients. It is added to strengthen the hair and give it a healthy shine.
