During the last two weeks we were focused around on-boarding of our new team members and getting more code shipped.

Development

  • 1 on 1 Client-Node communication channel got updated with VPN session creation events.
  • A lot of needed changes were implemented by updating the DTO for client-node communication channel.
  • New Identity service is being implemented. After a lot of research, we decided to go with the new Identity generation the same way as Geth does. With a public/private key pair, users will be able to identify themselves in the network.
  • We’ve been investigating (and still are) solutions for good and simple GUI that wouldn’t take a lot of time to build and export to different platforms (Mac & Linux).

Team

As mentioned in our previous post, the team is growing again. Let me introduce two more people.

Andrej Novikov joined us last week as a developer. He’s been developing web applications with JS for more than 7 years, to date specialising in node.js backend and rapid prototyping. Kicked off the career with algorithmic art and computational aesthetics, worked on data visualisation and infographics, created interactive projection installations. Andrej is going to ensure a smooth user experience as well as help the rest of the team with backend development.

Donatas Kucinskas is joining us on December 18 as a backend developer. Passionate about test-driven development, best practices, clean code, full-stack web development, complex algorithmic solutions, artificial intelligence and of course — Blockchain. He worked in startups before, but his latest experience includes multiple Blockchain projects at “Nasdaq”. Looking forward to working together!

That’s it for now, more news in two weeks!
