Last month, I decided to give five grants of $5,000 each to people pursuing open source AI projects (a few days later, five grants became ten, thanks to a generous contribution from Ann Miura-Ko at Floodgate).

AI Grant is giving away ten grants of $5,000 each to people doing interesting work in AI.

With three days left until the application deadline (April 30th), I’m excited to announce some new benefits for AI Grant winners.

Last Tuesday I wrote that I’d be giving away five grants of $5,000 each to people doing open source work in AI. It was an idea I’d had over the weekend and I thought I’d try it out and see what happens.
