We have optimized the nonce management mechanism, which can dispatch the nonce automatically. This means that the system will automatically assign the nonce to the transaction if the submitted transaction has no nonce specified; on the other side, the execution logic is same as before if the submitted transaction has a nonce. This functionality has already been deployed on our testnet.
Meanwhile, we also solved the compatibility problem of MVCCDB and upgraded the data synchronization logic on testnet.
Testnet DIP Program
From January 21, 2019 to March 31, 2019, deploy smart contracts on the Nebulas testnet, and engage test users (or conduct various types of test transaction) through the Developer Incentive Protocol (DIP) to share 2,500 NAS!
Total reward amount is about 2,500 NAS, and the reward testnet token will be converted to NAS after the DIP is live on Nebulas NOVA mainnet.
The development experience has greatly improved: NR, DIP and inter-contract calls can be done on the Nebulas NOVA testnet. Everyone is welcome to deploy smart contract on the testnet to share the reward!
Research Institute Seminar
On 21 Feb, 2019, the Nebulas Research Institute hosted a seminar named “Introduction to Specification.” Dr.Tang introduced specification of distributed system and the mathematical language TLA+. So far, TLA+ is widely used in distributed services such as Amazon Web Services and Azure.
