A Nonduality Poem
There is There, and I am Here — a poem
The unity of all existence is in the here witnessing what is there.

My table is out there
My pen is out there
My paper is out there
Everything I see, hear, and touch is out there
My body is out there, and it is in there
My thoughts and ideas are in there
My feelings and judgment are in there
They mysteriously arise, change, and fade away in my inner awareness
In my awareness, there is a there
And there seems to be a me there
But the me that is there is not the deepest me
There is also a here
And there is a kind of me in here that is the deepest me
That me is not in my awareness — it is my awareness
Calling it a me falls short of what it really is
Eternal, silent, unchanging, and infinite come closer
But they too fail because here is far simpler than that
