6 Word Story Challenge

Words make more of an impact than you think.

The shortest stories you’ll ever read are some of the most impactful stories. Two that stick in my mind are The Ugly Duckling and a story attributed to Ernest Hemingway: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

I decided to take the 6-word challenge after reading James Saint Simon’s article 10 Word Story Challenge.

1. Single-family income. She felt helpless.
