When I started writing online in 2020, I used to write blog post after blog post hoping people would find them. My ultimate goal (at the time) was to monetize my blog with AdSense and make tons of money.
I was sooo wrong.
If you also push articles every week, hoping people will get attention someday, you are making a huge mistake.
I had to learn it the hard way. I want you not to have to go through that. I will tell you how you can build a loyal audience from day one and slowly monetize your writing.
Understand that it’s not going to happen quickly. It might even take over a year to see real progress. So, you must be patient and maintain consistency and self-belief.
Followers vs. Fans
We all have different reasons to write online. But I know for a fact that all of us want people to read our stories. I also know we want the $$$ (let’s be honest here).
In writing, or any creative work, money comes from people. If you can get more views, you make money. If you can gain tons of followers, it’s easier for you to monetize your content.
