Troubled on every side, at times fighting distress
Troubled with despair but we are not forsaken here
Just come on home

Yes I see you — so much more than just that name
They lied to you, I know some things never change
For centuries they left you bound
Freedom speaks “Get up off the ground”
Just come on home, Find your way home

You know the way, it’s unspoken but it’s heard
What’s that you say — keep your peace don’t say a word
There’s no fault, just write the test
The answers are clear, you must do your best
Just come on home, Just come on home

Yes, I see you! So much more than just a lie
You’ve got the truth, Rest a little and then please try!
Through toils and snares, they have come
Loss of life, darkness, no Sun
Please get home, Find your way home

Yes, still much that must be said
Walk in the Spirit and there will be no dread
You will know all, and so much more
Many sacrifices beyond the shore
You must get home, just come on home

We are troubled on every side —
