Story Cards: Collect Iconic Moments from Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm is a first-of-its-kind digital collectible experience. As you prepare to enter the Realm, we wanted to share details on the digital collectibles we’re calling Story Cards.
What are Story Cards?
Story Cards give you the opportunity to collect your favorite iconic scenes and moments, including locations, characters, and battles taken directly from the Game of Thrones series.
Each time we release additional Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm Hero Boxes or Collector Packs, we will release new Story Cards from that box or pack’s respective region of Westeros. For example, the Story Cards in Series 1 will focus on characters, locations, and scenes from The North.
What are Collection Challenges?
Certain collections and sets of Story Cards can earn you rewards. For example, holding certain characters that are involved in historic battles from the show could earn you even more rare collectibles when you use them in themed collection challenges. More details will be released closer to challenges going live in early 2023.
How can you collect Story Cards?
Series 1 Hero Boxes will contain 3 Story Cards. These will be on the Palm blockchain, and will be able to be bought and sold on the Nifty’s secondary marketplace. Additional Hero Boxes and Collectors Packs will be released in 2023 that will contain new editions of Story Cards, and will also be available to trade on the Nifty’s secondary marketplace.
Series 1 Story Cards
Our first release of Story Cards will start in the North, and is full of many of the first characters we meet in the television series. The first series will heavily feature the great house of the North, House Stark. While their paths take them across Westeros and far beyond their family home, Ned Stark will be joined by his children, Sansa and Arya, in this set of Story Cards.
Additionally, this release will feature the North’s most iconic landmark, the Wall and a few of those sworn to protect it, Jon Snow and Samwell Tarly. And finally, beware what lies beyond the Wall, as notable Free Folk and White Walkers will also make appearances in the genesis Story Card collection.
