Another fine
conundrum, Stan.
Which came first,
Ollie, my man?

Aristotle,
asked for theories,
fowled out with his
infinite series.

A timeless
quandary,
ancient folk
paradox,

modernized
by cartons
with twelve
in a box.

I didn’t mean
twelve chickens
complete with
wings and legs.

Yolks and whites
packaged in
shells — you know …
a dozen eggs.

“Read my lips,” is
no eggs-pression.
Lips aren’t something
eggs have or need.

Even when hatched,
no lips attached.
Not lip equipped,
Fun fact, indeed!
