What a lovely welcome surprise! My parents gave me two books they recently bought in Romania — the poetry of Mihai Eminescu and the poetic works of Ana Blandiana. The greatest happiness! I really longed to recall my native language, as I usually read in Spanish. So these days, I intend on sharing fantastic pieces of poetry. Lately I have been reflecting a lot about life — its meaning and the path that leads to eternal emptiness. At times I feel like I need some reassurance, yet I despise self-help books and certainly won’t go close to them even if I were hopeless. To say, however, that I am finding solace in Mihai Eminescu’s poetry. By this I mean, that poems are not merely written about flowers and the sun with fancy words. Indeed, poetry can be brilliant.

Literary Goal for June — ☕ tip of appreciation

📖 La huella de la mariposa by Mahmud Darwix

About the literary goal: I find that I simply love books more than anything else and that it would be unfair to my soul if I would not read them. Therefore, it comes to my mind the idea of creating a literary goal. Every month I intend to acquire a book — the purchase may be made by my own efforts, that is to say, through writing. If you find my commitment rewarding and decide to support me, you are welcome to invite me for a coffee. Thank you for your kindness!
