The most common reaction when I tell people that I quit is ,”Why?!”.
A major life decision has been made. Plans are afoot to break free of cubicle nation and go where the heart desires (the list is long!). As a friend aptly put it, “There is a premium on your youth, don’t piss it away”. Of course, some might say aimless wandering is precisely pissing it away…
If there is one thing that makes commuting bearable (and I daresay fun) it is NPR.

Folks, I am off to Peru for a 10 day backpacking trip! Should be a lot of fun! Arequipa, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Tambopata and Lima are the destinations. Along the way I hope to make some new friends, and get to know better some old ones :)
Went skiing to Lake Tahoe a couple weeks ago. Learnt to ski on day 1 and actually skiied on day 2 :)
I took the plunge, quite literally! Yesterday, ie Saturday the 16th of February 2008, I jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet, was in free fall for 60 seconds and floated down to earth slowed down by a parachute!
