NU Sci is Northeastern University’s student-run science magazine. Started in 2009, our goal is to share science news to the Northeastern community and beyond in a way that is interesting for any sort of reader. As the first president, Kristina Deak said in her introduction to the first issue, “We’re not about publishing undergraduate research papers, we’re about making science accessible to the community, with interesting articles that are relatable in an everyday context.” We publish two print issues per semester in addition to several articles throughout the semester and over the summer on our website. We accept any and all members to our teams — if you are a writer, designer, photographer, marketer, interested in outreach/fundraising, or managing a website, we would love to have you!
