ObEN will be participating in the prestigious Dubai Future Accelerators program, beginning this March, bringing our work on the Project PAI blockchain to the high-tech metropolis. The unique accelerator, established under the auspices of the Dubai Future Foundation and the Government of Dubai, connects the world’s most innovative companies with government partners, industry leaders, and renowned mentors to develop prototypes that bring cutting edge technology to a wide array of industrial and civil applications.
The Dubai Future Accelerators program attracts applications from top technology companies around the world, with a select few invited to participate in the intensive 9-week program. Many from past cohorts have emerged as leaders in their industry, with the program designed to identify emerging technologies and business concepts with the potential to address the world’s most challenging problems. Throughout the program, ObEN will work to develop a prototype solution with the potential for rapid deployment across Dubai, leveraging the company’s proprietary Personal AI (PAI) technology.

ObEN’s Personal Artificial Intelligence technology enables users to create intelligent 3D avatars that look, speak, and can even learn to behave like the user. As one of the earliest adopters of the Project PAI blockchain, ObEN’s Personal AI (PAI) are secured and authenticated on the immutable network. With the blessing of Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the government of Dubai plans to become the world’s first blockchain integrated smart city. As a world leader in technology adoption, Dubai is the ideal place for ObEN to continue developing cutting-edge applications for its PAI technology. In fact, at last year’s World Blockchain Summit in Dubai, ObEN’s work on the PAI Blockchain took first place in the Startup World Cup for its vision of enabling every person in the world to create, own and manage their Personal AI.
On the blockchain, every PAI interaction serves to improve the individual user’s PAI, as well as the collective PAI community. With more use, PAIs become smarter and more useful and can eventually become capable of performing a myriad of tasks on behalf of the user. ObEN already explores applications for PAI across the retail, healthcare, entertainment and social space. Along with South Korean entertainment giant S.M. Entertainment, ObEN has established AI Stars, the world’s first celebrity AI agency. The joint venture will see ObEN creating Personal AI of S.M’s roster of stars, as well as other celebrities around the world, helping them leverage better, more personalized digital interactions with fans worldwide.
ObEN’s first Personal AI app on the PAI blockchain will be available in mid-2018. Called PAIYO, the experience will allow users to create their own PAI, have it authenticated on the blockchain, and engage in a song an dance experience in AR.
