Occam DAO Community Update — Roadmap, Tech & More
Dear Occam DAO members,
We’ve had some exciting developments since the beginning of the year, most notably the introduction and release of the Discord governance system and Bot. Throughout this time, the Occam DAO has continued building in order to add many of the anticipated features that the community has been inquiring about. The following article addresses some of the most frequently asked questions we have received from the Occam DAO ambassadors and community members. The update will cover:

Occam DAO Roadmap
OccamRazer
We are delighted to share that a major OccamRazer platform update is coming next month, June 2023. The new Razer update will include a number of new product features, including:
- Mobile IDO participation
- Updated user interface with new Tiers to reflect the results of Occam’s Temple Path
- An integration with the Occam DAO NFTs reflecting each person’s tier and voting power
- Updated user interface reflecting a change in the rewards token from CED to CHAKRA
- CHAKRA pool interface
- Dashboards for CHAKRA minting, including staking
- Multichain setup that will allow us to easily add new EVMs for IDOs. This will result in the ability to hold IDOs on any EVM chain
- Integrating WalletConnect and more wallets to come in the future
BSC and other ERC20 staking functionality is planned to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
We are very excited to make the new features available to our DAO members and look forward to your feedback once the changes have been implemented.
Chakra token
The Chakra token represents a tokenized weighted basket of all the projects that are launched from within the Occam Incubator, as well as partner projects that wish to add value to the Occam DAO.
The Chakra token will be distributed to holders as soon as the new OccamRazer platform is released, which is set to happen next month. Once the update is complete, DAO members will also have access to the Chakra Pool interface and dashboards.
Furthermore, we are developing a quadratic rewards calculator for the CHAKRA token. As a result of the quadratic function, lower Tiers will receive higher APYs, while higher tiers will receive more CHAKRA rewards in absolute terms.
To maintain equity of the token distribution, users who do not have any Tier (less than 200 OCC staked) will not receive CHAKRA rewards. This principle is expected to move about 16% of CHAKRA rewards from non-tier stakers to those who have at least Tier 5.
Plans for Cardano
Cardano continues to be a strong area of focus for the Occam DAO, though we have broadened our scope as a launchpad and incubator to have the capacity to cater to various networks. Nevertheless, the Cardano ecosystem remains a priority for the Occam DAO and we are closely following the developments within the ecosystem. At the moment, we are focused on getting in touch with Cardano opinion leaders to create more engagement and discussions within the space, as well as searching for synergetic partnerships that can benefit all parties involved.
Wen new IDOs?
The Occam DAO core contributors responsible for business development are working to identify and bring new projects on board for incubation, ISPO and IDO opportunities. As was discussed during a recent BD AMA on Twitter, current market conditions make it difficult to find quality projects that can pass our due diligence processes and allow for new IDOs to take place. We encourage you to have a listen to the Twitterspace for a full understanding of BD processes and latest updates.
While we continue building in anticipation of another bull run, core contributors are focused on bringing relevant partnerships to the Occam DAO community to enhance engagement with the project, improve reach and encourage new users to join.
ISPO
CURL
We have been made aware that the APY displayed on the CURL ISPO was not updating. The CURL ISPO APY is based on the assumption that the $CURL price is 0.2 USDT per token. The platform experienced an issue in the backend resulting in the APY not updating on time. This issue has now been fixed and the APY presented on the ISPO website is correct.
However, due to the low participation rates in the ISPO, we will be closing down the CURL Pool. The average ADA APY rewards over the staking period will be distributed.
CHAKRA
As a result of reviewing some of the concerns raised by the community in regards to Occam’s CHAKRA ISPO, the Chakra Pool ISPO has been closed. Consequently, all ADA contributors can claim back their invested funds, along with receiving the average ADA APY rewards over their staking period.
Occam DAO Team
The Occam DAO has a range of core contributors and a dedicated team of developers; the team consists of 10 developers including the DevOps team. In the last few months, the main focus has been the release of the new Razer platform, which is coming next month and brings with it a multitude of new features.
We have also received concerns over delayed communication from the Occam DAO side. From now on we will ensure that everything is communicated on time.
The Grand Aspect Tournament
The next crucial stage in the further development and growth of the Occam DAO is down to our community. We encourage everyone interested to get acquainted with the Grand Aspect Tournament, our governance system and enter a Guild of their choice (or create one). Guilds will play a pivotal role in the direction the Occam DAO will follow and subsequently the benefits reaped by the DAO members.
