About D.G.P: Legends BETA
The second D.G.Pals game (of 4 games in 2022) in the D.G.Verse ecosystem, D.G.P: Legends, is set to go LIVE on 31st May 2022! D.G.P: Legends is a 5v5, player vs player squad-battler game.
Players will bring their D.G.Pals to the biggest sports event in Panterra and pit their team of 5 extraordinary D.G.Pals against other players or NPCs (non-player characters) in glorious combat!
Gameplay
The Arena of Legends is where all D.G.Pals prove themselves! Challenging one another through epic battles will allow D.G.Pals to gain EXP. Each D.G.Pal will have its own stamina and depletes on every EXP earned. Stamina will reset on a daily basis.
Each of the current 6 D.G.Egg types will have an Ultimate skill that is unique to its type, and the D.G.Pals will also have their own personal skills in accordance with their D.G.Egg type.
During the 5v5 battle, your D.G.Pal team will use their personal skills and auto-attacks against another Explorer’s or NPC’s team. Once the Ultimate skill bar is full, the D.G.Pals will automatically cast their Ultimate skill. Victory is declared when either of the teams is defeated. D.G.Pals will gain EXP from competing in battles, and any EXP earned, regardless of wins or losses, will be the same across all rarities.
Daily, Weekly, Ultra Rare, and Genesis Quests & Earning
Each D.G.Pal NFT embarks on its own random Daily Quest and Explorers can collect $OPL (Panterra Opals) after their D.G.Pal has successfully completed its individual quest.
There are 3 different categories of Weekly Quests per D.G.Pal account.
For the Standard Weekly Quest, there are a maximum of 4 different tiers to unlock. Explorers will need to have at least 5 D.G.Pal NFTs (of any type and rarity) to unlock the first tier, and a new tier gets unlocked for having 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 D.G.Pal NFTs respectively.
Calling all those with Ultra Rare and Genesis D.G.Pal NFTs! You will get to unlock additional random UR and Genesis Quests if you have at least 1 Ultra Rare and/or Genesis D.G.Pal NFT. Complete the quests and collect even more $OPL!
Weekly quests will reset, with a new set of quests becoming available every week.
BETA Launch Disclaimers
D.G.P: Legends BETA will be playable on Desktop at launch from the web portal: dgpals.io . There is preliminary mobile support. As this is only a BETA build, do let us know if you find any bugs! Upcoming game features in D.G.P: Legends
Explorers can expect more exciting features in D.G.P: Legends in future patches! A ranking system is in the works, where Explorers can collect better rewards based on their attained rank. In addition, unlocking talents will also enable the customisation of D.G.Pals’ skills.
Closing Remarks
In D.G.P: Legends, Explorers, and D.G.Pals are met with challenges as they compete for glory and rewards in the Arena of Legends! There are a total of 4 games planned for release in our 2022 roadmap, with more to come in future! Explorers are introduced to the D.G.Pals and surrounding lore in D.G.P: New World (Game #1 LIVE). They can engage in sporting battles with others in a PvP, 5v5 auto-battler in D.G.P: Legends (Game #2). D.G.P: Plaza (Game #3) will be a virtual town where Explorers will be able to show off their avatars and chat with one another. And last but not least, D.G.P: Adventure (Game #4) is slated to be an SLG x Tower Defence hybrid! *bursting with excitement*
That’s not all we have in store for you! Here are a few more features you can expect! D.G.League, a marketplace-based NFT loaning system, is in the works.
