October 2022 Highlights
- The Octopus Network WebApp now has zero unlocking period for delegators who wish to switch to another validator on the same Appchain.
- MYRIA/USDT trading pairs were added to Fusotao’s FXDX exchange.
- Discovol DAO’s new app, discovol.co, will be open for registration in November.
- Octopus Network held an Octopus Day party in Myriad.Town metaverse to celebrate the first anniversary of the Octopus Network mainnet launch.
- Accelerator Winter 2022 program now accepting applications until November 11, 2022.
- Octopus Network was invited to attend the 7th Annual China Open Source Conference in 2022.

- The Webapp has been optimized to make it easier for delegators to claim rewards.

Fusotao FXDX adds MYRIA/USDT Trading Pair
On October 26th, Fusotao’s FXDX exchange added MYRIA/USDT trading pair and launched a $MYRIA trading contest. The trading contest will run through November 9 and the top 30 winners will split 888,000 $MYRIA.
$MYRIA is the native token of the Myriad.Social Appchain, a Web3 Social Network with Metaverse Myriad.Town.

PortalVerse Releases Q3 Report
On October 13, Portalverse released its 2022 third quarter progress report, introducing 3 major components:
- Validator program — Main network operation and PoRS consensus verification.
- Miner node program — Transmits the rendered content to the player.
- Game client — Players use Portalverse through the client (see below image)
Portalverse releases On-Chain Cloud Gaming User Journey Demo
Portalverse completed the development of their first on-chain cloud gaming user journey demo via PC client and are deploying nodes to provide early birds with gaming experiences.
Octopus Network Community Governance

On October 8, 2022, Octopus Network and many Octopus Network Ecosystem projects held a party in Myriad.Town Metaverse to celebrate the first anniversary of the launch of the Octopus Network mainnet.
Louis Liu, the founder of Octopus Network, gave a keynote speech with the theme of “The History, Actuality and Future of Octopus Network.”
Participants got an insider view of the Appchains in various stages of development on Octopus Network, had first-mover opportunities to acquire voucher NFTs for Myriad.Town land parcel claims, and partied for more than 6 hours with live entertainment from a variety of DJs and in-world musical artists.
