OWN Raffle
The raffle is your gateway to win rewards in the OWN Cryptoverse. It is an intricately designed system, tied-in with various activities on the platform. Ownership of NFTs will yield some raffle tickets as would playing various games in the Cryptoverse.
This article was last modified at 23 June, 2022, 2:00PM. Post Early Access launch of One World Nation platform, we made few changes in raffle ticket allotment after listening to community feedback.
Major changes done during this update were:
1. Number of Early Access Tickets increased from 5 to 10, to ensure retention of early access users without NFTs. We want these users to stick back, participate further in the economy via borrowing NFTs and playing games.2. To avoid confusion and complex calculation around ticket allotment we decided to allocate ownership tickets only twice per draw. This also means, increased minimum reward amount per ticket. So chances of winning big are now higher!
What can I win in the Raffle?
All kinds of rewards (except winnings in specific games) will be given out through the raffle draws.
Being part of the OWN community and spending time on the platform should be rewarding.
You get raffle tickets for your participation in the ecosystem, each ticket giving you a chance to win a large reward. As the ecosystem grows, the rewards would just keep on getting bigger and better.
At launch, we would start with the following 4 rewards:
Here is what each item is:

- Cash Rewards in USDC — Will be given out from the Game Treasury
- Genesis NFTs — Very limited giveaway of Genesis NFTs during the raffle. And they are incredibly powerful. Read more here.
- Free Games — Earn more free games to play on the platform
In the future, the raffle draws would give out airdrops of $OWNED tokens, token and NFT rewards of other NFT projects, gift cards of real world platforms like Amazon, Netflix, etc. The raffle draw, just like everything else in the OWN ecosystem, will be shaped by the community vote.
How often will this Raffle take place?
There will be 2 draws each day at the following times — 3:30 am UTC (9:00 am IST) and 3:30 pm UTC (9:00 pm IST). The raffle draw will run programmatically and the winning tickets will be announced within 30 minutes of the draw time.
Other rules
If your ticket(s) win a reward in the raffle, you will be required to claim the reward within 7 days of the win, failing which, the reward will expire. Claiming the reward will transfer the winnings to your OWN wallet (and you can send them freely from here to wherever you want).
How to get Raffle tickets?
Now that you know what all you can win in the raffle and how to win it, let’s answer the key question — How to get these raffle tickets in the first place?
Currently, raffle tickets would be given out in the following 4 ways:
1. Raffle Tickets on Sign Up
To give everyone the experience of raffle game, the platform will give 10 free raffle tickets on sign up to every user.
2. Early Access Raffle Tickets
To reward people joining platform at early stage and help us gather valuable feedback around the game; we have decided to give away 10 Raffle tickets to them for each draw. These raffle tickets are only for early access users and we will stop allotting them post 1st of July 2022. So join in early and win more!
3. Ownership Raffle Tickets
Ownership of NFTs is key in the OWN ecosystem. And rightly so, it is disproportionately rewarding. Raffle tickets will be given out to the NFT owners at every 6 hours interval (at 6:30 am UTC (12:00 noon IST), 12:30 pm UTC (6:00 pm IST) and so on.. ). The number of tickets will be dependent on the rarity of the NFT.

3. Participation Raffle Tickets
The main use of the Cryptonite NFTs is in various games on the OWN platform. Spending time on the platform playing games will be rewarding.
Each game will have its own participation and winning raffle tickets allotment logic. For Crypto Fantasy, each player will get 10 Raffle tickets on participation at the start of the game.
4. Winner Raffle Tickets
And of course the winners need to be rewarded extra! The pro players amongst us stand out and so should their winnings. So, If you end up being in the winning zone, you will receive 10 extra Raffle Tickets at the end of the game.
