ONTO Update Notice + iOS Enterprise Install Guide

ONTO’s Android version has updated from beta version 0.8.4 to official release 0.8.7. ONTO iOS version 0.8.7 has also been released. Please update your ONTO as soon as possible, and remember to back up your ONT ID and wallet beforehand. The update will help you manage your ONT ID and digital assets faster and safer.

The official release of ONTO will charge a 0.01 ONG fee for MainNet ONT and ONG transactions.

Note:

Please back up your ONT ID and your wallet. If for any reason your update fails, you might need to re-import your ONT ID or wallet.
During ONT ID and wallet backup, you can export corresponding KeyStore documents from ONTO. Please note, these KeyStore documents are not the same document. The ONT ID KeyStore is for you to recover your digital identity. You need to remember your password when creating your ONT ID. However, the wallet KeyStore is used together with your private key, WIF, mnemonic phrase, etc. to recover your wallet. You also need to remember your password when creating a wallet, which will be used together with your KeyStore document to re-import your wallet.
ONT ID is not connected in any way with the wallet. They belong to different function modules. ONT ID is used to manage your identity and related authorization and authentication, while the wallet is used to manage your digital assets.
This update will not affect existing functions such as ONT ID creation, blockchain certificate, token swap, etc.
Please do not uninstall ONTO and redownload it to update. You can update ONTO via the in-app reminder which will appear every time you open the app. What needs to be emphasized is that ONTO will not save any of your data. Therefore, if you uninstall ONTO, you will need to restart the authentication and binding process.

ONTO official release main functions

Update notification. Click “Update” and install after the download completes.
An ONT ID must be created when downloading ONTO for the first time. Non-first time downloads can choose to import an existing ONT ID.
MainNet ONT and ONG transactions now have a default 0.01 ONG fee.
ONG redeem also requires a 0.01 ONG fee. For each transaction made in ONTO the claimable ONG amount will automatically update.
You can now see your NEP-5 ONT balance at the current address. Press your NEP-5 ONT balance or “MainNet ONT Token Swap” to swap the NEP-5 ONT balance. For further token swap details please refer to this article.

ONTO iOS 0.8.7 Enterprise Install Guide

Go to https://onto.app/ and press “Download for iOS”.

2. Press “Install” and let ONTO download without closing your browser.

3. Check your phone desktop to see if ONTO is downloading.

4. Once ONTO has downloaded, you will have to trust the enterprise developer. Go to Settings > General > Device Management > TOP LTD TOV > and trust the developer.
