The Open Research Forum (ORF) is a section within Open Knowledge in Higher Education (OKHE). If you are studying EDUC66092, you may find the ORF useful, but see the OKHE homepage for course information.

The Open Research Forum is a space for researchers and students at the University of Manchester to discuss the benefits, opportunities and challenges presented by open research. This Medium site complements the Open Research Forum events held at the University of Manchester and offers a chance to find out about Open Access, open data, open software, preprints and other forms of open research.

This site will be complemented by events across campus, bringing researchers together to exchange ideas and best practices in open research, beyond those mandated by research funders.

How can I contribute?

If you would like to share your opinions and experiences of open research practice then we would like to speak to you. Please email us with your ideas.
