How to Contribute to Opolis’ Gitcoin Grant
Gitcoin has opened their fifth round of Gitcoin Grant Quadratic Matching, the “CLR Match Round 5.” Gitcoin has hosted four CLR Grant Rounds previously, but this round is special: it’s a $250k round with a special $100k allocated to Public Health in light of recent events around COVID-19.

What is Opolis building?
Opolis is creating a next generation employment ecosystem for the self-sovereign worker called The Employment Commons.
What is a self-sovereign worker?
It’s a person with sole ownership of all employment related decisions, risks and rewards. They have control over how their personal and employment data is shared and used. In other words, Opolis brings freelancers, creatives, consultants and gig workers together to access the same high quality benefits and services as full-time workers while maintaining the freedom and flexibility of working independently, an issue that has become especially important as thousands of individuals across the U.S. are finding themselves in need of health insurance coverage due to COVID-19. Opolis also offers automated financial processing and reporting to help members of its Employment Commons spend more time doing what they love and less time worrying about finance and tax compliance.

Opolis completed its closed beta launch of the Genesis Employment Guild at ETHDenver 2020. Fortmatic and WYRE have been integrated into the initial platform for launch. Next, Opolis aims to complete the following integrations: 1) Lendroid 2) OpenLaw 3) Veriledger.
What other grants and investors does Opolis have?
Opolis has accepted investments from ConsenSys, Lendroid and other private investors. Opolis has been awarded grants from MakerDAO.
