OPO.design meetup #2: Wrapping Up 👋
Has it been two weeks already? Yes, it has. Did we have 200 people joining the meetup of the Porto Design Community? You bet, we did.
That’s right, 200 people attended OPO.design #2, again breaking our own record. It’s getting serious 🙀🙀🙀😎
As usual, we had two great examples of Porto design talent grace us with a couple of talks, a lot of networking, francesinhas for dinner and, a first at OPO.design, a book lottery! Look at them happy winning faces! 👇

The talks 🗣
There’s no shortage of talent in Porto, again two of our own shared their views, ranging from creativity to empathy, and the role they play in our industry. If you didn’t see the talks live, or are just looking to recap, be sure to watch the talks below.
Joana Galvão brought us “Unlocking Your Creativity”, in which she told us how we are tricked into thinking we are creatives, even when we’re not, and how we can actually be better at it. This talk is mesmerising, and one not to miss for any professional of the creative industries.
Tiago Monteiro talked about “The Power of Honest and Inspiring Stories”, and how we can create more impact through empathy, instead of the plastic, “perfect world”, average solutions. If you’re communicating and trying to engage an audience, this one is for you.
