OPO.js meetup #7: Speaker Profiles 🗣
Meetup #7 is right around the corner, it’s time you get to know our speakers.
Benjamin Coe — Product Manager at npm, Inc
The Product Manager at NPM, and author of modules used by us all, joins us in the flesh to share his experience, after a remote appearance in one of our past meetups.
Author of well known open source modules in the Node.js ecosystem, like yargs, nyc and standard-version, accounting for hundreds of millions of installs every month, Benjamin requires no introduction.
In 2014, Ben joined NPM, the official package manager for Node.js, where he’s tasked of helping with dev-ops or, as he would put it, making “the JavaScripts run better”.
Before joining NPM, Ben first moved to San Francisco in 2011 to found the email search and productivity startup Attachments.me, which was acquired by Yesware in 2013. At Attachments.me, Ben played the role of CTO, leading the technical efforts, and designing systems capable of processing millions of attachments every month.
Ben’s experience balancing private life, work and open source should prove valuable for the Porto JavaScript Community.
We look forward to seeing what Ben will be sharing with the community next June 12th.
