Ultimate Guide for OrbCity Season 4
OrbCity Season 4 will begin next week.
Before we open it, we’d like to announce some information about season 4.
Season 4: OrbCity Updates
1.OrbCity Season 4
- Season 4 Start Dates: July 10th, 2023
- Season 4 End Dates: January 6th, 2024
2.Get Orb Updates
- A total of 8,064,000 $ORB will be allocated for Season 4.
LP Pool
- Lp Pool 4%(Open Pool) is the same as the previous season.
- The LP tokens in Open Pool will not be burned.
- Users can deposit and withdraw anytime.
Lock-Up Period Pool
- 3 Days Pool 14% (4LV) is the same as the previous season.
- 7 Days Pool 14% (3LV) is the same as the previous season.
- 14 Days Pool 14% (2LV) is the same as the previous season.
- 30 Days Pool 24% (1LV) is the same as the previous season.
Burn Pool
- LP Pool 4% (Burn Pool) is the same as the previous season.
- The LP tokens in Burn Pool will not be entirely burned but will be moved to our community treasury. The transferred LP tokens are used to provide continuous liquidity in the future. - Lay Token Pool 5% (Burn Pool) is the same as the previous season.
- Scrap Pool 2% (Burn Pool) is the same as the previous season.
- Lay Parts Pool 19% (Burn Pool) is the same as the previous season.
Each Burn Pool has the same daily allocation, so you can get rewards in proportion to the amount you put in when Burn Pool reset daily.

*Note: As a reminder, the Get Orb Pool will be changing to the Get Orb War system during the season.
3.Exploring Changes
“Get District” changes to a probabilistic method. Previously, exploring a district requires 100 $LAY and 20,000 $ORB. However, as the method changes to probabilistic, it requires Lay 007 Robots and dynamic $ORB tokens to explore the district. The detailed logic is as follows:
1.Chance of Exploring
- Initial Success Chance: 7%
- If no one has successfully explored the district, the probability of exploring increases by 1% each day.
- If someone succeeds in exploring, the exploring chance is reset to initial success chance.
2.Cost
- 4 Lay 007 Robots and dynamic $ORB
- It will cost 4 Lay 007 Robots to explore the district, but will return one Lay 007 Robot if it fails. - Dynamic $ORB formula
- Root($LAY Price / $ORB Price) * x² * 0.07
- x=45
ex) if $LAY007 = $8, $ORB = $0.07

3.Exploring Time
To avoid affecting the floor price of the land, the exploration period increases exponentially as the probability increases.
- Exploring Period formula
- 7 * (1 + Success Chance * ((Success Chance * 100) - 7))
ex) if Success Chance = 10%, 7 * (1 + 0.10 * ((0.10*100)-7)) = 9.10 days
ex) if Success Chance = 20%, 7 * (1 + 0.20 * ((0.20*100)-7)) = 25.20 days - The exploration period can be shortened by using time coupons.

4.District Changes
District’s wallet<->spending transfer service will open this season. As a result, leveling up your land is also available for $LAY and $ORB tokens in Spending wallet. All assets and resources in the OrbCity ecosystem have been databased, which will be useful for multi-chain scaling.

5.Building Updates
The Unique and Legendary tiers for buildings are opening this season.
6.Advertise on LAY-BOURING
LAY-BOURS will now be exposed to the ads.
7.Bridge Function Close
OrbCity’s Klaytn to Polygon migration feature was announced in January last. We’ve extended the window three times to migrate everyone’s assets as much as possible, but we’re officially announcing that the migration feature will no longer be available.
Season 4: OrbCity Upcoming Systems
1.ORB Lock-up Open
ORB Lock-up system will be open. If you lock up your $ORB for a certain period of time, you will receive weORB (war escrowed ORB) proportional to the period. The periods are as follows:
- 30 days = x0.50
- 60 days = x1.00
- 90 days = x1.50
- 180 days = x3.00
- 360 days = x6.00

2.Country Vote Launch
Use weORB to participate in the Country Vote! The Country Vote will take place once a month, and will determine the top ranked countries for the month. The higher ranked countries will have more power to earn more $Orb, and the more you participate in the vote, the stronger your Orb power will be. You can also vote to win a share of the taxes in each pool — you’ll get a share of the taxes based on the percentage of votes you cast. More details will be released at a later date.
3.ORB War Launch
Once the countries are ranked in the Country Vote, Orb War will open each month. The more powerful you are, the more $ORB you’ll get. More details will be revealed at a later date.
4.District Editor Open
Land owners can customize their districts. Customize your district by earning assets through various activities. The assets on your land may increase your land power.
5.Time coupon production in buildings
Building owners will be able to earn Time coupons for the activities of their Lay-Bours. The higher the value of a building’s attribute, Lay-Bours, the more TimeCoupons it earns. This is great news for building owners, as they will be the only ones who will be able to earn Time Coupons in addition to $LAY tokens!
6.Building Membership Open
Building owners’ building scores will be reflected in their membership points. Please be patient!
