The Orbit Chain team is happy to welcome Cosmostation as Validator partner for Orbit Bridge. Orbit Chain has seen explosive growth after launching Orbit Bridge, especially with the rise of KLAYswap, a Klaytn-based AMM liquidity protocol that uses Orbit Bridge to get K-Bridge assets (e.g. kETH/ kORC/ kWBTC/ kDAI). K-Bridge assets are assets dependent on heterogenous chains that are brought to the Klaytn network and are used as Klaytn Compatible Tokens (KCT). KLAYswap has recently reached $1.5B in TVL, much of which was bridged by Orbit Chain’s Orbit Bridge.

The addition of Cosmostation, an enterprise-level validator node operator, will formulate a stronger, more secure staking and validation system for Orbit Bridge and we are excited to continuously work to improve Orbit Bridge with them now by our side.

Cosmostation is an enterprise-level validator node operator and end-user application developer based in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to entering the node infrastructure landscape, Cosmostation specialized in application development, building non-custodial mobile wallets and web applications for various blockchain since 2017.

As a validator node operator, Cosmostation secures various PoS networks including the Cosmos Hub, Chainlink, OKExChain, CertiK Chain, Kava Network, Band Protocol, Iris Hub, and many more with over $175 million in assets under management. Cosmostation also develops and maintains powerful end-user applications.

Cosmostation also previously worked with Binance under the Binance X fellowship program to build Mintscan, a block explorer for Binance Chain, and Defistation, a DeFi analytics platform for BSC.

Orbit Chain and its new validator partner, Cosmostation, are strategically planning to further evolve and expand together in business and technical areas with a global emphasis. Cosmostation will be a key partner in bringing Orbit Chain to the blockchain world’s forefront globally with secure geographical decentralization and increased reliability of transactions. With its increased stability, the Orbit Chain ecosystem will grow to provide its services to a greater number of users around the world.
