Meet the Team Behind the Pioneer NFT-Focused Startup in the Philippines
The people behind Ownly are a group of skilled individuals with the same vision: global NFT and cryptocurrency adoption through our platform. With a combined 70 years of experience in finance, software development, education, marketing, art, and design, we believe we can reach this goal within the next five years.

Ismael Jerusalem
Chief Executive Officer
Ismael is the Head Organizer of the Albay Multimedia Arts Convention (AMAC), the biggest event celebrating creativity in the Bicol Region. He is also a Community Manager and General Secretary of Bicol IT Org. Inc., the largest and most active IT advocacy non-profit organization in Southern Luzon.
He launched a very successful Augmented Reality art exhibit based on the Ibalong epic, Bicol’s earliest work of literature. One of the first presentations in the country that combines art and cutting-edge technology last August 2019 together with Studio Down South. He was formerly the Gallery Manager of Galleria de Embarcadero, which supports homegrown creative talents in showcasing their works of art.
Ismael’s interests involves organizing community events that develop both the local creative and tech industry. Aside from being an entrepreneur, he is also an athlete who plays sepaktakraw, loves cycling, and enjoys taking long walks in the morning.
Bernard Historillo
Chief Technology Officer
Bernard is a full stack developer with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He worked on both frontend and backend in several software development projects in local, national, US-based, and Singapore- based clients. He had won several programming competitions and earned several certifications at national conferences in the tech industry.
When Bernard is not fixing a bug in his code or updating our website, he is busy cycling and jogging. He also plays mobile legends and swears he is the number one One Piece fan.
Karl Vasquez
Chief Marketing Officer
Karl is a Creative Entrepreneur. Few from his creative pursuits are the Albay Multimedia Arts Convention (AMAC), where he is part of the Core Organizing team of the biggest creative convention in Bicol. He co-founded a design studio based, Studio Down South, and the Founder and the CEO of the community-based streetwear brand, Bounce Back PH.
Karl also works with various clients as a Creative Marketing Specialist. In 2019, When in Manila recognized him as one of the Top 30 Young Successful Entrepreneurs Under Age of 30 in the Philippines.
During his free time, Karl explores different cafes to try their coffee. He loves hiking, cycling, and riding his classic motorcycle. Most importantly, he loves playing with his dog and watching the sunset in the afternoon.
Kina Añasco
Marketing Specialist
Kina is an Online Marketing Strategist and Conversion Copywriter with years of experience in personal branding, sales funnels, social media, and email marketing. She delivered hundreds of different types of content for diverse clients globally, including creatives, therapists, coaches, and consultants.
She coached International clients in growing their brands online through content marketing strategies that move the needle forward in their business.
When she’s not on her computer, she juggles life as a serial entrepreneur, event and wedding planner, host, and her favorite title of all — mom.

Rico Zuniga
Technical Advisor
Rico has over 15 years of experience leading product development teams for startups and multinational companies. Rico has been working with blockchain technology since 2017. He is also a ConSys-certified blockchain developer. Moreover, Rico is the co-founder of Bicol IT.org Inc., the largest and most active IT advocacy non-profit organization in Southern Luzon.
He’s currently the CTO of SparkPoint Technologies Inc., a Blockchain technology startup from the Philippines. They launched their own cryptocurrency token called SRK in 2018.
Rico is passionate about advocating for the growth of the local IT industry. He believes that everyone should give back to the community, that’s why he has been involved in multiple seminars, mentoring, and training programs. He made it his mission to guide and help the next generation of technology professionals and startup founders.
Carlo Pinto, CPA, MBA
Fintech Advisor
Carlo is a Certified Public Accountant, he had practiced all areas of the accounting profession: commerce and industry, academe, government, and public practice. He had worked with fortune 500 companies and local businesses in different accounting and finance roles to provide timely and reliable financial information to decision-makers. He has also served as the chief accountant of a national government agency. Carlo founded an accounting firm as a sole practitioner and subsequently co-founded a partnership.
One of Carlo’s hobbies is learning how to code. Now, he is also a full-stack programmer who earned his certificate in a developer bootcamp.
Raf Banzuela III
Creative Advisor
Raf Banzuela is an illustrator and designer based in the Philippines with over 10 years of industry experience. Combining surrealism and realism is what makes his highly detailed art unique.
He works with national and international clients such as The Great Little Place London, Hinge Inquirer Publications, Ystyle — Philippine Star, Chop Suey Publications, Lifeline Foundation, and General Interactive Co.
Aside from his interest in drawing and design, Raf loves to run and cycle. He also spends time boxing and enjoys the thrill of being on his motorbike.

Micah is a content specialist with more than four years of experience in copywriting, SEO, and content management. She has worked with several local and US-based businesses by helping them thrive in the digital space. She is also the current CMO of the local streetwear brand, BouncebackPH.
In her free time, Micah loves to paint using watercolor and acrylic. She listens to podcasts, buries her head in a book, and never forgets to watch her favorite KDramas.
