Mustachio Quest Updates #3: Mustachio NFT Visualizer, 2D Backgrounds, NPC Template, and More

Last January 28, we announced the inception of our 3D Openworld Metaverse Play-to-Earn NFT game called Mustachio Quest. From 2D avatars, the Mustachios are brought to life into playable 3D characters.

Through the Mustachios, you will be able to interact with other Mustachio holders, build a team, and compete for rewards. The game is set to be VR-native and lets you explore and have fun virtually!

On our second update, we’ve built the basic character movements and functionalities of the 3D Mustachios. We’ve also created the NPC and dialogue system, loading transitions, game backdrops, and maps. Lastly, we’ve integrated the MetaMask wallet into the game. After a month, we have added more into our NFT game. Our developers worked mainly on the following:

Updated Dialogue System

We reimplemented several updates on our dialogue system, adding choices and improving the backend so that we can easily add new dialogues in the game.

Added NPC Templates

Our developers created NPC templates to effortlessly integrate new NPCs with the new dialogue system.

The 3D Mustachio NFT Visualizer

Most of our game developer’s time and focus was spent on making the visualizer. We wanted all of our Mustachio NFT holders to get a feel of the game while it’s still in early development. At the same time, receive feedback from them. Under the visualizer, our devs added several features:

1. Changing 2D backgrounds

There are now 12 backgrounds that you can use for your Mustachio NFTs. From magical lands to eerily strange locations, you can use the backgrounds to spice up the look of your Mustachios.

2. 3D Mustachio Poses

There are six different poses that your Mustachios can try: T-Pose, Woah, Jump Shot, Sneak, Victory, Levitate. Pick your favorite pose, post it on Twitter, and tag us so that we can highlight your unique Mustachio.

3. Several Playable Areas

The visualizer gives you multiple places where you can use your 3D Mustachio to explore and hang out.

You can mint the remaining 22 Mustachio Pathfinders from our Genesis Set.
