Ownly Updates and Accomplishments for 1st Quarter 2021
The first three months of this year have been productive and rewarding to us at Ownly. Here are some of our accomplishments for the first quarter of 2021:
1. Launched Ownly Rebrand
Last January 21, 2021, CryptoSolitaire pivoted from focusing on playable digital art to promoting single-edition Cryptoart. We renamed the company Ownly which means owning the only digital copy. The transition paved the way in helping local artists get distinguished on the global NFT market. Furthermore, it allowed us to establish a non-traditional online gallery which will be a virtual meeting place for one-of-a-kind artworks and collectors.
2. Attended Binance Blockchain Week
Ownly co-founders Rico Zuniga and Ismael Jerusalem attended Binance Blockchain week on Feb 1–6. The six-day seminar launched by Binance was led by the top individuals in the blockchain and crypto space. Aside from meeting like-minded individuals, both Rico and Ismael furthered their knowledge about blockchain tech on how it is a transformative tool that makes our lives better.
3. Sold 2 Chenandink Cards
Last February, we held a sale on OpenSea for the remaining face cards in a playing deck made by artist Chen Naje/Chenandink when we were still CryptoSolitaire.
Chen’s King of Diamonds was sold for 0.69 ETH (₱ 55, 151.00).
The King of Clubs found a new owner for 0.8 ETH (₱ 72, 000.00).
4. What is Bitcoin Live Discussion
Rico and Ismael shared a live discussion on Facebook about Bitcoin and why it is a worthwhile investment. They put emphasis that now is the right time to learn about cryptocurrency and how Bitcoin and other crypto are the future of financial transactions.
5. Talk with TBI: Mind To Market, Startup Founders Mindset
Rico and Ismael attended another seminar that discussed the proper perspective for startup founders at Bicol University. Both gave their insights on how important it is to begin with the mentality that building a startup comes with its own joys and obstacles. They also shared some tips for startup founders on how to reach the right market for their products/services.
6. Lei Melendres X Ownly Collab
On January 27, we officially announced our collaboration with professional doodle artist Lei Melendres. Our first set of collectibles for this year were proudly made by Lei who have worked with big brands such as Mini Cooper, Mazda Japan, NBA Store, Asus PH, Kipling, and WWF Philippines.

7. Launched Inkvadyrz Collection with Lei

The collection is a deck made up of twenty cryptoart cards divided into four categories: 2 legendary cards, 5 rare cards, 6 uncommon cards, and 7 common cards. The collection called Inkvadyrz portrays twenty different characters from different realms invading another world. Check out the whole collection on OpenSea.
