Lei, who is a professional doodle illustrator, tells us that both 4713N and Ink hold a special place in his heart ever since he started working as an artist. From figuring out his art style to being someone with almost a hundred thousand of people appreciating his work online, these two characters played a role in his growth especially now that he had multiple international projects and collaborations like NBA Store, Daniel Wellington, Mini Cooper, Mazda Japan, Sharpie, Stabilo, and many others.
According to Lei, 4713N is his signature character and has been a big part of his branding for more than ten years. It is present in almost all of his heavily detailed artworks. Sometimes, he would add and hide it in some of his illustrations, especially for those projects where he is not allowed to include this specific character.
