Krystal, your one-stop platform to access all popular decentralised finance (DeFi) services, is making headway in enhancing our ‘Swap’ service! We’re pleased to introduce SmartSwap: a smart liquidity aggregator that helps you achieve the best prices for any token swap on any of our supported chains: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom and Cronos.

Since its launch, Krystal’s ‘Swap’ service has provided users with convenient trading access to thousands of tokens. By aggregating multiple decentralized exchanges (DEXes) on our platform, users can browse from multiple DEXes to pick the one that gives them the best rates. As we introduce SmartSwap today, we will yet again improve your token swap experience on Krystal.

Powered by smart contract technology and complemented with an API containing a discovery & routing algorithm, SmartSwap optimizes your trade orders by splitting and routing them through multiple DEXes within the same chain, to get you the best rates with minimum slippage. The rates you get on SmartSwap is superior to what you would have gotten from trading on a single exchange.

At launch, SmartSwap will source tokens from 21 popular DEXs across all our supported chains.

This includes top DEXes on each chain: Uniswap, Curve, PancakeSwap, Trader Joe, KyberDMM, SushiSwap, QuickSwap et. al. More DEXes will be added in the future to get even better rates; leading DEXes on other networks will be added when Krystal supports them in the near future.

Step 1: Visit the Krystal website, or download the Krystal Mobile App

Step 2: Select your preferred blockchain network

At the time of writing, Krystal supports token swaps on Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom and Cronos.

Step 3: Go to the ‘Swap’ page, and select two tokens you wish to swap

As a DEX aggregator, Krystal’s UI will present all options and recommend the option with the best rate and lowest slippage, according to your trade size. For most (if not all trades), SmartSwap will be the recommended option.

Within a single transaction, SmartSwap’s algorithm splits your trade order and routes them through multiple DEXes within the same chain, giving you the best rates with minimum slippage.

You will be able to see how much you will save from this trade by using SmartSwap over the next best option.

For example, I want to swap 100 BNB to BUSD. Compared to routing my trade via a single DEX (eg. KyberDMM), routing my trade via SmartSwap will save me $100.
