I love coffee just a tiny bit less chai. As an Indian chai will always come first but for me, coffee is not far behind.

I absolutely adore black coffee and can’t stand the phony flavored coffee with added sugary crap. For me, an espresso shot is the way to go.

But last month I had a terrible panic attack that was fueled by coffee jitters. I felt unbearable anxiety because I left my novel at home, it took me a day to realize that they were coffee jitters that felt like a full-blown panic attack.

Since then I have tried to reduce my coffee consumption to get a handle on these coffee jitters before it was too late.

I took a challenge to be caffeine free for a month last year, it was an educational experience that taught me a lot about my habits and moods.

But I wasn’t able to stay away from this magical stuff for too long. I hopped on the caffeine wagon immediately after a month and haven’t looked back since.
