First & biggest: we’ve announced the schedule for the upcoming IRISnet 1.4 mainnet upgrade! Star features include the Interchain Account feature and migration to x/nft! Combining these two features, we’ll be able to support cross-chain managing NFT/MT assets through ICA 🎉🎉🎉 — A significant milestone to-be!
The testnet is already live, we strongly encourage all validators, node operators and dApp builders to join and test all things out!
Also worth mentioning is IOBScan-IBC, which has shipped a plethora of new features in the past month or so, and foremost increased its total supported IBC chains to 55!👑 We strongly recommend not to miss this game-changing tool in your Interchain journey, it’ll totally make everything easier. IRISnet 1.4 Mainnet Upgrade is Imminent, Testnet is Live!
On November 11, we’ve released the pre-announcement on the upcoming IRISnet 1.4 mainnet upgrade. The testnet is already live!
Feature Preview:
• Upgrade to cosmos sdk v0.46.4 and ibc-go v5.0.0
• Enable ICA (Interchain Account) feature, and migrate irismod/nft to x/nft.
These two functionalities once live will make IRISnet the first network to support cross-chain managing NFT/MT assets through ICA! 🎉🎉🎉
All validators, node operators and dApp builders are welcome to join the testnet and test all functionalities out!

In the past month, IOBScan has successively supported Cronos, OKExChain and Likecoin, increasing the total number of supported IBC chains to 55!

Interchain NFTs are Coming to Cosmos
On November 8, IBC NFT transfers has been tested between Cosmos-SDK and CosmWasm chains using ICS-721, and successfully transferred NFTs on testnets from IRISnet to Stargaze and Juno.

The 19th Execution | Eco-development Funds Community Management Plan
In April 2021, the IRIS Foundation launched a new Ecosystem Development Program, which included the Eco-Development Funds Community Management Plan. The Foundation will undelegate about 300 million IRIS gradually, and then transfer these assets into the Community Pool in batches.
By submitting on-chain governance proposals, every community member can co-manage all assets in the pool for the purpose of enhancing the ecosystem.

The Uptick NFT Collection Launchpad Event | Phase I concluded & Phase II is Live!
The NFT Launchpad Event was launched by Uptick Network on September 1, 2022. Funded through the IRISnet Community Pool, the event provides ~500,000 $IRIS in prizes with an exciting promotional package for each winner!
