As stated previously, this volume of builds will have quite the emphasis on vehicles, due to my wish to expand into them and to explore my Blake’s War AU. In fact, I have an idea to do so in further detail and also share some builds in PDF form. The construction of a compilation of these builds is something that has been sadly delayed for some time. But, for now, let’s go to the model!

The Visigoth aerospace fighter was originally developed by Clan Jade Falcon back in the 30th century. An inspired design, it expertly balanced armor, speed and firepower, becoming a favorite for pilots all over Clan space.

Although superseded by later, heavier, and more advanced models, the Visigoth continued to be preferred, being an important workhorse for many a Clan. By the time of the war against the Word of Blake, it still remained numerically important.

This is why in Blake’s War this is the multi-role fighter option for the Clan (Nova Cat) faction. Missile launchers in the wings can make short work of any opposing aerial unit, while a medium autocannon and lasers in the nose can soften up ground targets. Two additional lasers defend the back of the fighter. During the conflict, Visigoths would be constantly called upon to lead the charge against the enemies of the Clans.

This had a price, though, and by the early 3070s attrition meant that newer models would finally start to replace these aging workhorses. But that’s a story for another time.

The model is obviously in Nova Cat colors. It takes 67 parts plus the base, and I believe it to be relatively easy to make.

Going back to the original point, I am thinking of making a TRO-style file to collect some of the builds I’ve made thus far, using the Blake’s War theme for it, until I manage to have time and tools to make a mission pack (the original intent for the AU). I think it would be a fun way to do it and give more back to the community.

Let me know your thoughts. Be safe!
