June Wrapup — Token Swap, Binance DEX listing, London Tech Week and more!
June has been the month of milestones for CAS token, with many long-awaited announcements that especially for you as a community and token holders came as great news! Here’s all you need to know about this month!
Token Updates
CAS SWAP Voting
We have conducted a community voting on the token swap from ERC-20 to BEP2, which resulted in a clear YES with the overwhelming support of 99.2 %. Holders of more than 300 Million CAS tokens participated, the final count can be seen here.
Binance Chain: CAS Swap started
We have been distributing BEP2 CAS tokens in batches, which you can follow here. So far, hundreds of users have been able to successfully swap their tokens. If you still need to swap and have any questions about it, see our FAQ here.
CAS Hack Reporting
We have also used the swap as an opportunity to enable you to report cases where you lost your CAS, we have received multiple reports. If we encounter tokens coming to swap from a reported address, we will investigate and try to recover the tokens.
CAS Trading
Our proposal to list CAS on Binance DEX was successful, with many of you showing their support and excitement on the forum — thanks to all for your help!
The proposal was accepted by all Binance chain validators and we got 11/11 votes to be listed on Binance DEX. The trading of CAS will start on 18 July, 12:00 BST.
Product & Partnership Updates
Joining the Binance Ecosystem
We are excited about the new horizons that not only came up for CAS token but also for us as a company when joining the Binance ecosystem, which over the past months has been attracting numerous startups that have also moved to Binance chain. We are looking forward to new business relations and being able to bank this promising ecosystem.
Support for BEP2 Assets and Network
Cashaa wallet will support the BEP2 assets, companies who will be building or migrating on Binance chain will able to use Cashaa wallet to store their tokens.
Business Banking
Since we launched our business accounts, we have now surpassed 400 business user signups in June!
Bug Bounty Programme
To become even better for our users, we have announced a bug bounty programme, where you can submit any bugs you spot and get rewarded. You can also use the same form for any other feedback you may have.
Partnership Programme for Businesses
We have also announced a referral partnership programmes for businesses to bring their business customers on board, and have had the first business referral partners including law, accounting and investment firms signed up to bank their network of clients with us.
Referral Programme for Individuals
We have also launched a referral programme for individuals, where you can bring your business contacts on board and get rewarded with an early IBAN account after the first referred business customer, and get a referral fee for every following business customer.
Events
1. London Tech Week: Blockchain Innovator of the Year award
The event highlighted in June was London Tech Week, including its Blockchain Innovator of the Year award. The first prize went to Accenture, but we were still able to compete with the likes of ConsenSys and many other top companies. With your support, Kumar got the second place in the award at the Blockchain for Business Summit.
2. London Tech Week: Speaking invitations
Furthermore, Janina was invited to speak at four events during London Tech Week: A panel discussion at the China-UK HI! Tech Summit, as well as presentations at India-UK Tech Day and Tech Italia Lab’s workshops for the Industrial Bank of Korea, as well as for Sheffield University’s MBA programme.
3. New Cashaa Team Member debuted at XLR8 Booth
We also got the wonderful support of our new team member, Ana, who has joined us on the Marketing & Communications side. We had a great start together at our booth at the TechXLR8 exhibition which took place around the Blockchain for Business Summit!
4. Janina Interview with Bull.io
It was also great to meet bull.io at Cocoon London, who did an interview with Janina on our crypto-friendly bank accounts. You can watch the full interview here.
5. Janina at Coinscrum Meetup
The month was finished with addressing London’s oldest and largest crypto meetup, Coinscrum. Janina spoke about the advantages of Cashaa and how we are growing fighting all the odds.
Cashaa Meme and GIF competition
Our Meme and GIF competition is going on, we have some great submissions. The last date to send your entry is 18th July, we are looking forward to seeing all your creativity in the run-up to the listing on Binance DEX. Thanks to all who participated so far!
