Oh! How treacherously slow the days go by!

Oh! How devastatingly slow the moments pass by!

Oh! Just look how barely you even survive!

Wasting without care the gift of your precious existence!

Yet you desperately hope, for something, anything,

Oh, the freedom and joy in the vision that your heart leaps at!

So, you step up - deciding to take on the reigns

Ready to triumph even in the hardest rain.

Ready to take on the run even at sunset

Your heart is all fired up for the taste of success!

Thus, you wake up and fight with all your might
Against the dreary tide for you desperately do mind.
For you know that this run shall take you
To the mountains and rivers and valleys,
For you know that this swim shall free you
From the shackles of time and lethargy.

So, you fly like a bird freed from a cage

Higher and higher - fuelled with desire

Away you go to the lands where no soul has ever travelled before

Away you go to the shores where no man has ever been before.

Light and free! Your heart you trust.
Trusting that it will see to your shower and dust.
Your faith as strong as Hercules’ famed might
You hold on to love and sit back tight.
You fly high - high as the kings of Byzantine
You transcend beyond all known boundaries of flight.

Thus, with unmatched strength you fight

Thus, armed with knowledge, you have your path in time

You pay heed to the stories, myths and legends

Take their treasures and apply them as fit in due measure

You are careful enough not to meet Icarus’s sorry plight

You are grateful enough to pay homage to Hestia’s shrine.

Thus, bravely you fight laziness, sorrow and pain

So focused are you on the goal that you have set to gain

Toil you do as you have never done before

Putting to shame even the legends of yore.

You alight all might! You set your dreams ablaze!
You create hurricanes and master the three Fates.
You shine like the diamond you knew you were meant to be
You gain the place that the stars had shown you to be!

All this you did with the strength of your heart
All this you did because you were ready to take on the plunge
For trust you didn’t have that you were meant to lay
And trust you didn’t have to lose this life at play
But trust you had to change the wings of time
And trust you had to follow your heart at life.

And thus, you were reborn - emblazoned with golden letters

And thus, your tale came known even to the greatest

"An Inspiration! A Legend!" what had they not called you!

With folded arms and awestruck eyes, all thronged to beseech you.

"Oh, great soul, tell us the secret to your success!"

"Oh, great soul, what do we to at least come close to your success? "

And you smiled - a kind and genuine smile

And gazed upon those gathered with a heart of divine light.

Then you spoke about the dreams of your heart

And you spoke of the roads you had to pass

Thus, came known the power of the heart

Thus, came known the strength in the scars

For "Change”, you said, "is a matter of time "

"When coupled with toil as hard as mine."

Now the days go by fast,

The moments too fast to even count!

Live you do as you have never done before!

For your existence is now written into the stars.
