“One-Click Token Launch”

Brand new “One-Click Token Launch” function allows you to launch IRC-20 tokens on IOST in just minutes!

This function was developed by IOST TOOL, an IOST developer partner node. Being With a professional blockchain developers team, TOOL has extensive experience in developing dApps for in multiple public blockchain projects such as Ethereum and EOS.

quick guide on how to launch a token on IOST:

1. Download iWallet & Jetstream extension wallet

2. Open IOSTtool site and log in to iWallet or Jetstream

Open the site: www.iosttool.com

3. Enter the key parameters

The key parameters include:

Token name

Total supply

Decimals

Token details

With just one click, you’ll launch your own token! (Please remember to buy at least 5 IOST of iRAM beforehand).

“Decimals” refers to the smallest unit of the token, which is specified to a few decimal places. For example, if you set decimals = 2, the minimum unit is 0.01 tokens.

4. Now, click the red button, a confirmation page will pop up.

After clicking “Confirm”, wait patiently until a confirmation message is displayed in the lower-left corner. You can either ignore it or click on the hyperlinked [token name], which will direct you to your token’s profile on IOSTABC explorer.

At this point, the system will have automatically sent the token to the creator’s mainnet account.

At present, the cost of creating a token is about 3 IOST, and the format is limited to IRC-20. In the future, other token formats will be developed.

IOST X Suterusu

IOST has recently reached strategic partnership with Suterusu, the privacy protection centered project, both parties will carry out in-depth technical cooperation on blockchain privacy protection and applications.

Suterusu will use their zero-knowledge protocol ZK-ConSNARK to build a Layer-2 sidechain for IOST enabling functions such as private transfers, private finance and private contracts on IOST, also, it can provide IOST based DeFi projects higher levels of privacy protection.

Privacy is an extremely important issue in encryption. For data and information that may need higher privacy protection, public ledgers that expose information on the blockchain are not suitable. When IOST provides such kind of privacy protection on-chain, it will greatly benefit the cooperation between IOST, more enterprises and governments.

Suterusu’s technology is based on their original zero-knowledge proof protocol ZK-conSNARK, which supports heterogeneous blockchains to implement privacy protection functions, without the need for “trusted presets”; optimized ZKP for faster proof speed; and SuterVM that supports smart contracts, which can achieve privacy protection for digital assets.

According to Suterusu CEO Hou Zheng Peng, Suterusu will use the knowledge in the field of privacy protection technology to make a positive contribution to the construction of IOST ecosystem.

The combination of public chain and privacy protection will provide more application scenarios for IOST in digital finance and DApps such as zero-knowledge identity authentication.

The main benefits of the cooperation:

  • Suterusu can support IOST to protect the core information of transactions made on the IOST chain. Suterusu’s zk-conSNARK does not require a “trusted preset” and can achieve “constant-level traffic”. These two characteristics will also directly improve the security and verification efficiency of IOST mainnet transactions.
  • Suterusu can provide “controllable anonymity” for IOST in the payment field, which is of great help for the application and adoption of IOST decentralized payment.
  • In the DeFi, Suterusu can support IOST and implement a smart contract function with more application value. Everyone can see that these preset rules are enforced, but information about the amount of the transfer, what kind of assets and the person who transferred it is protected.
  • The partnership between IOST and Suterusu will provide privacy protection for the construction of decentralized applications based on IOST, guaranteeing the user’s data privacy and data security.
  • Through this partnership, IOST will achieve on-chain data privacy protection; this will greatly broaden the practical application of IOST public chain technology and will also provide more private and security services to the IOST mainnet users.
  • In the future, IOST will go hand in hand with Suterusu to conduct in-depth technical research and cooperation in cryptography applications, blockchain privacy protection and other aspects, working together on mass adoption, so that blockchain technology truly benefits everyone.

INT X IOST

INT Chain and IOST have reached a cooperation, and the two parties will communicate with each other in the application of the blockchain + Internet of Things. They will devote themselves to the technical integration research of the blockchain + Internet of Things, develop related applications, and actively deploy the blockchain application ecosystem. In addition, INT Chain’s numerous enterprise resources will also bring more potential partners and applications to both Parties.

INT Chain has accumulated a large number of experience and enterprise resources in the field of Internet of Things. In the future, the two sides will communicate with each other in the application of blockchain + Internet of Things, and jointly accelerate the pace of application of technology.

The INT Chain project, which evolved from the perspective of the IoT structure system, is the world’s first bottom-up basic application platform that created a new generation of IoT blockchain interaction standards. INT Chain has partnerships with well-known companies such as China Telecom, ZTE, and Hubei Industry and Construction Group.

According to Yin Xiangyu, head of INT Chain China, by cooperating with IOST, they can share their experience and technology in the application of IoT scenarios and explore the application and development of blockchain technology with IOST in certain specific fields.

IOST X Liebi

Liebi, a global decentralized financial service provider, is chosen to work with the IOST development team on the seamless IOST cross-chain bridge that enables the transfer of the information, transactions and asset values between IOST and other blockchains.

For both private and public blockchains, the key to realizing the Internet of Value lies in the cross-chain technology. Through the IOST cross-chain bridge, IOST blocks can be easily forwarded and mapped to different blockchain networks through the relay chain.

For users, IOST cross-chain bridge enables cross-chain asset transactions, and other services in the relay chain, e.g. DeFi, DEX, Staking, etc. It can bring extra liquidity for the asset and enhanced security to users.

For developers, IOST cross-chain bridge can enable cross-chain smart contract interoperation, reduce multi-chain development costs, realize multi-chain user sharing, data interconnection, and interoperability.

IOST cross-chain bridge is an open-source project based on Substrate. Combined with Relay Service and multi-signature mechanisms, it can build a secure, flexible, and scalable cross-chain without modifying the core functions of IOST. The overall solution includes Inter-chain communication, runtime modules, and guaranteed security.

Currently, the team are working on the development of the base modules for inter-chain communication, including RUST-IOST RPC interface encapsulation, IOST node transformation, etc. In this solution, the transformed IOST light nodes actively collect transactions broadcasted by the IOST mainnet, the Relay Service then verifies the Merkle Tree block header, and finally forwards the data.

Inter-chain communication IOST -> side chain

On the other side, the side chain receives the blocks from the Relay Service and packages them into the relay network to share the block data with other blockchain networks. Correspondingly, IOST light nodes will also collect other network’s blocks forwarded from the Relay Service, and after verification, broadcast them on the IOST mainnet, so users can directly utilize cross-chain smart contracts deployed on the IOST mainnet to complete operations.

Inter-chain communication side chain -> IOST

If you are capable of developing based on Rust and Golang, you are very welcome to submit a Pull Request or Run test in Rust-IOST, IOST Relay Service, Runtime and other repositories, and send us feedback.
