Solutions to delay attacks on rollups: One of the subtle issues for designers of rollup protocols is how to deal with delay attacks. In this post, the Arbitrum team talks about what they are and how Arbitrum protects against them, leading up to some exciting new developments. Arbitrum griefing attack of bridge deemed unrealistic as no plans for third-party relayers. Arbitrum is bringing L2 scaling to Ethereum dApp devs, now seeing growing demand for Chainlink Price Feeds with $1B+ in total value locked. The Optimism Bedrock upgrade is coming in the first quarter of 2023. OP Labs announced the migration of the Optimism Goerli testnet to Bedrock on January 12th — a crucial step in the Bedrock rollout. Lower L1 fees, support for multiple proof mechanisms, multiple execution client support and two-step withdrawals. Optimism 2022: Year in Review has been published. Optimism releases a free-to-mint Genesis Subscriber NFT for subscribing to the Optimism Mirror newsletter. Minting ends 31st Dec. Governance Update #5: An update from Optimism Governance. The team is rolling out a new ambassador role as well as formalizing the Loopring Legend role in order to recognize and reward those who contribute to the growth of the Loopring L2 ecosystem.
