2022 was a very exciting year for us at PARSIQ.

Not only were we excited to present our new, stronger vision in the Spring, but we also delivered — with the launch of our Tsunami API — the foundational components of that vision by Summer!

Following hot on the heels of the Tsunami API was the introduction of our Data Lakes, another of our new, flagship products. The first of these was our NFT Data Lake, a dedicated source of data providing users a vast array of information and support for NFTs (ERC-721 and ERC-1155).

In the wake of the FTX disaster, we offered vital support to projects affected by the fallout. And on top of all that, we’ve been traveling the world, attending key conferences to spread the word about our exciting new tech.

Clearly, we’ve been hard at work pushing forward the vision and mission of PARSIQ.

Today, we’re happy to provide you with an update on some of the progress we’ve recently made (rest assured, this is only some of what we’ve been up to…there will be more updates like this one in the coming future!).

Development updates

We’re always working on updates and improvements to our products. Today, we want to update you about some upgrades we’ve made to our NFT Data Lake, the implementation of real-time filters, and the ability to specify wallet/tx endpoints! Each of these items allow us to offer important features that our customers have been looking forward to. So, let’s take a quick survey of what each of these things mean.

NFT Data Lakes: Metadata

We are proud to say that our NFT Data Lake has now reached the point where we had initially envisioned it. We are now able to offer our users the ability not only to query all the data related to NFTs (their history, prices, sales, etc.); but we are also able to provide them with the metadata associated with those NFTs as well.

What does that mean?

Now, anyone using our NFT Data Lake will automatically have access to all the features that make the NFT unique — including their unique attributes (say, the stats of a weapon in a game) as well as the art that represents it! In addition, this includes important information about their trades, providing sales prices denominated in the digital currency in which it has been sold/bought.

Real-Time Filters for Tsunami API

Next up, we’re also thrilled to say that real-time filters are now available for users of our Tsunami API. Upon its launch, the Tsunami API provided users with any and all data on supported blockchains, going all the way back to the genesis block! This data is delivered instantly.

Now that we’ve added the ability for real-time filters, our customers will be happy to know that they can add even more layers of customizability to the data they need for their platform. Essentially, these filters allow access not only to raw blockchain data, but make it possible for decoded data to be delivered as well. Being built on top of the original Smart-Trigger technology that PARSIQ introduced to Web3 — as well as our ABI Decoder — these filters make it easier than ever to get the exact data you need, and to apply it with ease.

Think of this as the full scale re-introduction of our Smart-Triggers, but this time on steroids! 💪

Wallet and Transaction Endpoint Specification

Finally, we’re happy to update you on our wallet/tx endpoint specification feature.

This will prove to be a useful tool for developers of all kinds. The idea is that you can specify wallet addresses and all sorts of txs that an address (or addresses) has participated in. Upon the launch of Tsunami API, our users had access to transfer endpoints. But now, they can get the entire history of a wallet or set of wallets.

This may not sound like a big deal to those not actively involved in development, but this added feature will save a lot of time for platform development — especially when it comes to analytics or research purposes.

For example, a platform can now take the specified wallet addresses, gain all the data about their transactions, apply their business logic, and can then show the wallet history. Say a wallet interacted with a number of protocols — with AAVE, Curve, UniSwap, etc. Now, our users can get all of this data easily consolidated from us! Needless to say, this makes UX creation and improvement much easier.

What is more, this pull-based approach to transaction querying could be used in conjunction with our real-time filters (mentioned above), to build all sorts of helpful solutions for front end development!

To the Future!

All in all, these developments are important steps forward for PARSIQ. Each, in its own way, helps solidify PARSIQ as not just the fastest, but also the most reliable, data source in the world of Web3. And, more than that, they each represent ways that we’re realizing our goal of making blockchain technology more easily usable and accessible to BUIDLers! We love providing the necessary infrastructure to the blockchain community, and cannot stress enough our belief that blockchain is the future!

Stay tuned for more updates. To give you a hint, we’re looking forward to letting you know about the other blockchains we’re already working on supporting, the other Data Lakes already in the works (one being dedicated to a big DeFi protocol), and more!
