How to create a Pepewallet.
To get started with Pepedapp you are going to need a compatible browser for use with the Metamask Ethereum wallet.
The most common choice is Google Chrome. To download Chrome go to https://www.google.co.in/chrome/index.html and click “DOWNLOAD CHROME”
Once downloaded and installed you will need to get the Metamask extension. To download Metamask go to https://metamask.io and click “GET CHROME EXTENSION”
Once installed, click the fox icon in the toolbar and follow the instructions to set up a wallet. Don’t forget to back-up your seed phrase safely!
Now your wallet has been created, make sure you are logged in to Metamask and the Main Ethereum Network is selected.
Now go to http://www.pepedapp.com and click “MY PEPE WALLET”. This is where you will be able to view your beloved cards.
How to buy your first Pepedapp card.
Now that you are the proud owner of your very own Pepe Wallet, it’s time to fill it with rare collectable cards!
To buy your first card, click “MARKETPLACE”
Here you will be able to view the current cards that are available, as well as the lowest ask price. You’re in luck! Andreas Pepe is going for a mere .1305 ETH and is capped at a max supply of 222.
Click directly on the image to see a full description or go ahead and click “BUY NOW”
Once you click the buy button, you will be presented with a Metamask pop-up screen asking you to confirm the transaction.
Click “SUBMIT” and Taadaa! Andreas Pepe has a new owner, you have 1 out of 222 rare cards that can never be duplicated or destroyed. You will now be able to show off your card in the “MY PEPE WALLET”.
How to check the status of the transaction.
You can wait, frantically refreshing the My Pepe Wallet page, or you can check the transaction using a block-explorer. The quickest way to check the transaction is to click “HERE” on the ‘Transaction Submitted’ popup.
This will take you to an Etherscan page where you can check the status of your purchase on the Ethereum blockchain.
Troubleshooting — Pepewallet/Marketplace won’t load.
Most of the time this issue is caused by an eagerness to check new cards, leading to people forgetting to log into Metamask at the time of accessing the site.
However, occasionally the site can get pretty overloaded with avid Pepe-purchasers (yeah that’s a word now). The best way to rectify this issue is to clear your cache and refresh. In Chrome, click “HISTORY”, “SHOW FULL HISTORY” then “CLEAR BROWSING DATA”.
In the popup screen, ensure “COOKIES” and “CACHED IMAGES” are selected and click “CLEAR DATA”.
You should now be able to load up the site and Buy/Trade/Sell your favourite Pepedapp cards.
