Using Cipher mobile wallet with PepeDapp
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to access Pepedapp on mobile with Cipher Mobile Browser! Feel free to skip to the section you require and don’t forget to join the community here: http://T.me/pepedapp
To get started with Pepedapp on mobile you are going to need to download a compatible mobile wallet and Ethereum browser. The one selected for this guide is Cipher Browser.
To download Cipher go to https://www.cipherbrowser.com and click “APP STORE” or “GOOGLE PLAY” depending on your device.
Once downloaded, you can create a new wallet or restore an existing wallet.
For this tutorial, we are going to assume you have never used Cipher before and need a new wallet. Go ahead and click “CREATE A NEW WALLET” and agree to the terms.
Pick an image to use to identify your wallet when sending and receiving transactions. I’m going for green in honour of the ALLFROG.
Once selected you will be presented with a recovery phrase.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STAGE, DON’T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR RECOVERY PHRASE SAFELY.
Now that you have a Cipher wallet you can use the browser to access the Pepedapp marketplace. To do so, click the browser icon in the bottom left of the home screen.
Type or copy ‘pepedapp.com’ into the search bar and click “DONE”
You will land on the main Pepedapp home page.
How to buy your first Pepedapp card.
Now that you have your very own Mobile Pepe Wallet, its time to fill it with rare collectable cards!
To buy your first card, click “ENTER”
Here you will be able to see the current cards that are available, as well as the lowest ask price. You’re in luck! The Book of Pepe is going for a mere .224ETH and is capped at a max supply of 333.
Click directly on the image to see a full description or go ahead and click “BUY NOW”
Once you click the buy button, you will be presented with a Cipher pop-up screen asking you to confirm the transaction.
Click “APPROVE” and Taadaa! The Book of Pepe has a new owner, you now have 1 out of 333 rare cards that can never be duplicated or destroyed. You will now be able to show off your card in the “MY PEPE WALLET”.
How to check the status of the transaction.
You can wait, frantically refreshing the My Pepe Wallet page, or you can check the transaction using a block-explorer. The quickest way to check the purchase is to click the transactions tab (second from the right) to open up the list of latest transactions.
Now select the latest and click “VIEW ON ETHERSCAN”
This will take you to an Etherscan page where you can check the status of your purchase on the Ethereum blockchain.
Troubleshooting — Pepewallet/Marketplace won’t load.
Occasionally the site can get pretty overloaded with avid Pepe-purchasers (yeah that’s a word now). The best way to rectify this issue is to clear your cache and refresh. In Cipher, click the settings tab (far right)…
…and select “CLEAR BROWSING DATA”
You should now be able to load up the site and Buy/Trade/Sell your favourite Pepedapp cards.
