Pepedapp Genesis Deck is live! 🎉
The 22nd of May 2018 marked a momentous occasion for the Dapp community and Meme lovers everywhere - the first main launch of the Pepedapp Genesis Deck!
The release occurred at 2:00 pm EST after several days of hype, a free community airdrop and a successful 1-hour sellout release of the super rare Book Of Pepe card last week.
A total of 6 cards were released, all designed by Head Artist @cryptodrawz.
With the supply of cards ranging from 1,111 to as low as 22, some cards were not easy to get hold of. The rarest shiny Satoshi Nakamoto card, which you can view here, sold out in under 9 minutes.
Those lucky enough to get their hands on some cards appeared pretty happy with their purchases and were enthusiastic about starting their Pepe card collections.
It was a pretty crazy first release, crashing Metamask for some users and stress testing the Ethereum network (If we do say so ourselves).
According to Dapp Radar, Pepedapp is currently the number one game by 24h Volume - beating Cryptokitties by nearly 4x.
Don’t worry, you haven’t missed out entirely, you still have time to start building your collection. There are 18 cards left in the Gen 0 deck yet to be announced and in my opinion, the best is yet to come.
