Here’s a simplified version of all the important stuff you have to know:
The PERL Clicker Challenge consists of two campaigns:
- The Weekly Leaders Campaign
- The Community Challenge Campaign
Being one of the top players in these campaigns allows you to earn some REAL PERL tokens!
For the Weekly Leader Campaign
The campaign starts on 5th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT and there are two rounds for this campaign, so you have two chances to get some rewards. The results from the first round do not affect the results of the second round. Your PERL count will reset when the first round ends and the next weekly challenge starts immediately.
You need to be one of the top 88 players at the end of the week (12th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT and 19th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT) and you get some PERLs from the weekly prize pool of 38,888 PERLs depending on your rank.
For the Community Challenge Campaign
The campaign starts on 5th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT and you have to be one of the top 500 players when the milestone of 50 million transactions is reached and you get a share of the 20,000 PERLs prize pool depending on the total number of transactions among the top 500 players and how many transactions you contributed.
When you reach 1,000,000 PERLs in the game, you’ll get an interface to fill out your Binance referral ID. Only then can you get a chance to earn real PERLs.
The results announcement and rewards distributions for each competition will be done within 30 days after each competition/round ends.

A Quick Backstory
We wanted to demonstrate the power of Wavelet through our blockchain game, PERL Clicker, and although it was quite interesting (and addicting) to continuously click away on K’-Y-oyster to get as many in-game PERLs as possible and even unlock Atlantis. Since its release, our devs have continuously worked to improve PERL Clicker to make it even better than it was. Now we’re taking a step further to introduce the competitive aspect of PERL Clicker and actually make your clicks worth it!

Released on 28th August 2019, PERL Clicker is an interactive clicking game, inspired by the well-known Cookie Clicker, where you click on an oyster, named K’-Y-oyster, to collect PERLs, which you can use to purchase upgrades and power-ups to help you collect PERLs even faster. The purpose of the game was to demonstrate the power of Wavelet and we just wanted you to play a nice, laid-back game where you don’t have to think much and release the pain of life. Feeling stressed out? Play PERL Clicker here!
Now a lot of you might have noticed that the in-game PERLs share the same name as our token, but they’re NOT the same thing so don’t expect to make real money by physically abusing K’-Y-oyster (he’s been through a lot since his release, send 👏 and prayers for your friendly oyster).

Actually, he’s not suffering at all since he has faced the tough reality of humans polluting the oceans and has been knocked beyond comprehension by plastic, pretty green bottles and more. He’s a weathered veteran and all your clicks feel like a light breeze to him.
Anyways, back to UNTIL NOW…
So previously, the PERLs you get from clicking K’-Y-oyster doesn’t get you our real PERL tokens, which might feel like a waste of time. However, the real challenge is here. A challenge where you face off against players around the world to compete for very limited spots to earn come REAL PERLs.

The PERL Clicker Challenge!
Who doesn’t like a little competition? And who doesn’t want to earn some REAL PERL tokens?
We are now introducing the competitive aspect of PERL Clicker! Two competitions are about to happen soon (9:00 pm SGT to be exact) with a total prize pool of 97,776 PERLs:
- The Weekly Leaders Campaign
- The Community Challenge Campaign
The Weekly Leaders Campaign
As the name suggests, this competition involves players to be the top players of the week. All you have to do is get as many PERLs as you can and be one of the top 88 players with the most PERLs at the end time to receive a share of the 38,888 PERLs prize pool.
This competition will repeat twice so you have two chances to make the leaderboard cutoff.
Campaign Run Time: 2 weeks
Round 1
Start: 5th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT
End: 12th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT
Prize Pool: 38,888 PERLs
Award recipients: top 88 players (Individual amounts depend on rankings, explained below)
Round 2
Start: 12th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT
End: 19th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT

Rewards for the Weekly Challenge Campaign
The prize pool of 38,888 PERLs will be divided into 102 parts and distributed in parts to the top 88 players depending on their ranks as such:
1st — — — — — 5 parts: 1906.27 PERLs = ( (38,888 / 102) * 5 )
2nd — — — — — 4 parts: 1525.02 PERLs = ( (38,888 / 102) * 4 )
3rd — — — — — 3 parts: 1143.76 PERLs = ( (38,888/ 102) * 3 )
4th — — — — — 2 parts: 762.51 PERLs = ( (38,888/ 102) * 2 )
5th — 87th — — 1 part: 381.25 PERLs = ( (38,888/102) * 1 )
88th — — — — — 5 parts: 1906.27 PERLs = ( (38,888 / 102) * 5 )
As you can see, the player in the 88th position gets the same amount of PERLs as the 1st, so let’s see who’s lucky enough, or tactical enough to live the underdog story.
Note that your ranking from the first round does not affect the second round. The PERL counter resets on 12th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT and the next round starts immediately with everyone starting from the same PERL count of 0.
The Community Challenge Campaign
This competition requires everyone as a community to achieve a milestone of 50 million transactions. One click on K’-Y-oyster is one transaction. Buying one item is one transaction. Buying one upgrade is one transaction. Overall, every click you make related to gameplay is one transaction each.
When the milestone is reached, the top 500 players at that moment share the prize pool of 20,000 PERLs depending on how many transactions the player contributed among the top 500 players.
Campaign Run Time: until 50 million transactions is reached
Start: 5th September 2019 at 9:00 pm SGT
End: when 50 million transactions is reached
Prize Pool: 20,000 PERLs
Award recipients: top 500 players (Individual amounts depend on transactions contributed among the top 500 players, explained below)
Rewards for the Community Challenge Campaign
The rewards distribution will be done in a pro-rata format. This means that the reward you get depends on how many transactions you contributed towards the milestone and the total number of transactions of the top 500 players.
The calculation or rewards received per player is as follows:
PERLs received = ((transactions you contributed) / (total transactions of all top 500 players)) * 20,000
For example, if you happen to be one of the top 500 players and contributed 500,000 transactions with the total number of transactions of the top 500 players being 20,000,000 transactions, then you receive:
((500,000) / (20,000,000)) * 20,000 = 500 PERLs
Requirements to Recieve Rewards
To receive rewards, you need to get at least 1,000,000 PERLs. When you reach that amount, you’ll be asked for you Binance referral ID, as shown below:
You have to reach this milestone and complete this step otherwise you won’t be able to receive any rewards! You have been warned.
The results announcement and rewards distributions for each competition/round will be done within 30 days after each competition/round ends.
