Steve Harvey gives practical health and weight loss advice
Steve Harvey was a recent guest on the daytime talk show The View. He started the segment by acknowledging that his 66th birthday was just days away.
With a big smile and infectious energy, he charmed the hosts of The View and received cheers and jeers from the live audience as he declared:
“[I’m] so fly, unbelievably fly. [I’m] 66 and don’t even look like it.”
Whoopie Goldberg segued into Harvey’s health and fitness habits by asking what was his inspiration for starting his routine.
In true comedic fashion, he told a funny story about how he lost a wrestling match with his beanbag chair. Harvey described how hard of a time he had getting out of his chair to play with his grandchild.
As he recounted the ordeal, B-roll footage of him engaging in a strength training routine intercut the interview.
Next, Harvey was asked what advice would he give to people who are on a path to better health and weight loss. In response to the question, he explained:
“You gon get off path; you can’t stay on a diet. We got foods out here that taste good. Try to eat 80/20; you not gonna eat perfect all the time…
