Discovering beautiful free photos and videos is easier than ever with our latest Pexels update.

Not too long ago, we announced a new and improved Pexels search page. We’re excited to share that we’ve levelled up the Pexels search experience again!

Our updated search bar has several shiny new features that make discovering the photos and videos you need super easy. First of all, we have added autocomplete to the search bar! Once you begin typing, several suggestions for related search terms will appear, helping to streamline and speed up your search process. You can also find inspiration through hints for search terms related to your topic.

As you can see here, this isn’t the only improvement to the search bar. We have also added trending collections and topics below the suggested search terms.

We hope that this will help you uncover interesting content you might not have found otherwise. Whether you use Pexels to find ideas for your artwork, for blog posts, or you’re searching for a range of interesting imagery for designs or advertisements… taking a look at what’s trending can help you find great images, no matter what you’re creating.

Trending topics on Pexels are determined by the latest searches people are conducting. They’re a fun way to discover new content that you might never have searched for.

“I think it is just a nice way to help users find images they didn’t know they were looking for,” says Joey Farina, the Pexels software engineer who worked on this new feature. “It can also help them expand on their searches and find more related images.”
