There certainly are many factors when it comes to search engine optimization that are important to take a look at. But what is really the most important factor and how do I optimize it?

There were times when keywords were a factor for search engines to determine what your website is about and which value and benefits a website offers for visitors. Fortunately those days are over. Google, for example, completely ignores the “Keywords” Meta-Tag. The idea behind that is that no matter what you define as your keywords, your content could be completely different. And that is already the point.

It is all about your content. Let’s compare it to a book. Of course you want the cover to look nice and that the material is of good quality but in the end it’s all about the content. Your goal should be to have quality content that is regularly updated.
