No Hay Mal Que Por Bien No Venga
I wrote about the loss of negatives of Linda Lorenzo over 10 years ago here. It is heart wrenching to lose what I thought were very good shots taken with the long discontinued Kodak B+W Infrared Film.
For a while my loss was diminished (also exacerbated by realizing my loss) a tad by looking at the contact sheet. Through the years this badly fixed contact sheet (I rarely did this sort of thing) was deteriorating before my eyes. Because of the wonders of my excellent Epson Perfection V700 Photo scanner I was able to scan those tiny two frames at the end to produce what you see here.
In Spanish we have the expression, “No hay mal que por bien no venga.” That sort of translates to, ”Bad things sometimes happen for good reasons.”
The negatives were found so all is just fine with me today.
