Physics as a Foreign Language sheds light on some oft misunderstood areas of physics which border on philosophy, at the intersection of language and reality. The author, Domino Valdano, is a transgender woman. She has a PhD in theoretical particle physics from University of California Santa Cruz. Many of the ideas on this blog parallel ideas she put down in a book of the same name she began writing in 2016. However, as of late 2017 she has decided to put the book on hold for a while and finish it later.
